Charles Dickens Heritage Foundation

In 1991, Department 56 began offering a series of limited edition inns based on those mentioned in the works of Charles Dickens. This was done in conjunction with partnership with the Charles Dickens Heritage Foundation which was headed by Christopher and Jeanne-Marie Dickens. Each piece features the CDHF crest and a special hanging banner as well. In a hand-numbered limited edition accessory set was offered.
